6 Must Visit Day/Beach Clubs

There’s no better way to spend your day or evening in Bali than at a day or beach club. There’s a club for every vibe, whether you just want to relax or you want to dance your booty off. Here’s my list of clubs you might want to add to your itinerary.

PS There might be a minimum spend at some of these establishments, make sure to check before you book.

Safe travels and happy exploring!

Canggu

Finns Beach Club & Finns VIP Beach Club (@finnsbeachclub)

What rock have you been living under if you haven’t heard of the infamous Finns? Believe the hype because I had a time, honey! My partner and I started out the day bright and early (read 11 am) at the VIP side which is definitely a lot calmer and pricier than the main side of Finns but it was worth it for me. We had had a long day prior so the beds allowed for little naps throughout the day and the VIP service was great. Once the sun went down, the party started.

Atlas Beach Club (@atlasbeachclub)

Pretty close to Finns you will find Atlas Beach Club and it is massive. You wouldn’t think that from the outside. There’s multiple pools and sitting areas, beach access and a lot of restaurants. I was a little overwhelmed with the options but then again I’m one of those people that never knows what she wants to eat or where she wants to eat. Atlas had good vibes all around, it was the place I enjoyed my last Balinese sunset and it was beautiful.

JIMBARAN

Locca Sea House (@locca_bali)

Sooo, Locca wasn’t originally on the itinerary, it actually hadn’t come up on my radar when I was planning but my partner and I needed somewhere to celebrate her birthday. We had planned on going to Oneeighty but they were closed that day and Locca was recommended. I am glad we ended up there. They were really great with the last-minute birthday cake and pulling off a mini surprise. It was quieter during the day and got busy at night. There was a small Kecak performance and we got to make our own bags. We carved out our own designs and stamped them on to a bag with the help of a rubber hammer. It was giving, “Hulk, smash!”

UBUD

Cretya Ubud (@cretyaubud)

This is another popular day club, we’ve all seen that pool all over Instagram and TikTok. Cretya does get very busy since it is so popular. I’d say make sure you book your table or spot well in advance. It does live up to the hype though. If my memory serves well, you could visit the rest of the property, the rice fields and swings. If you’re looking to go to a more relaxed day club, I suggest going to Cretya Sunset.

Cretya Sunset (@cretyasunset)

Cretya Sunset is Cretya Ubud’s little sister and she’s just as beautiful. The views of the rice fields, spectacular. If it wasn’t for our ATV’s drop off point being at Sunset, we would not have known it was there. It wasn’t as busy as it’s big sister but I love a chill day club in the daytime. We only spent a few hours here because we were changing hotels and we needed to finish packing up our room. Their brunch was yummy.

ULUWATU

Rock Bar Bali (@rockbarbali)

Now, Rock Bar at Ayana Resort is more of a restaurant-bar situation but I loved it there. Go at sunset, you will not be disappointed. Also, arrive early so you get a good seating spot. While the sun is still bright and burning, they come around with umbrellas to make sure you don’t melt away. When the sun starts to set they come around and collect the umbrellas and you watch the most beautiful sunset ever. We happened to visit when they were having a masquerade event going on so we were given masks and got to roam around with them on and there was also a performance by a popular Thai girl group whose name I can’t quite remember.

HONOURABLE MENTION

I didn’t get the chance to visit the following places but they came highly recommended. If you have more days in Bali than I did then you can also add them to your list.
